Jan 2026
We’ve taken a moment to pause, reflect, and look back on 2025 and what a fantastic year it’s been.
From new partnerships to meaningful impact across the social and health care sector, it’s been a year full of learning, growth, and connection. We’ve rounded up our top 10 highlights to celebrate what we’ve achieved together.
We’re deeply grateful to our partners, clients, collaborators, and supporters for being such an important part of the aneemo journey. Thank you for trusting us, learning with us, and helping us make a difference.
If any of these highlights resonate with you or if you’re feeling inspired to invest in your training we’d love to chat. Whether you’re exploring new ideas or looking for bespoke training solutions, get in touch to see how we can help upskill your teams today.
1) Celebrating Innovation and Leadership

We were incredibly proud to see our Founder and CEO, Dr Emma Williamson, recognised as an Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award winner one of the UK’s leading awards for entrepreneurs driving meaningful change. This was followed by a powerful moment: Emma being honoured by the Government with a Purple Plaque at her former school. In a country where most historic blue plaques still commemorate men, visibility matters. These moments help broaden who we celebrate and ensure the next generation can see themselves reflected in innovation and leadership inspiring young women to imagine what’s possible and step forward as future founders and change makers.
2) Reaching learners worldwide

Our learning community continues to grow, now spanning over 46 countries. In 2025, we celebrated a major milestone: 10,000+ learners completing our two grant-funded courses.
Rough Sleeping Mental Health AwarenessBacked by the Mayor of London’s Rough Sleeping Innovation Fund, Westminster City Council, and London Borough of Lambeth, this free course supports professionals to recognise and respond to the mental health needs of people who sleep rough or are unstably housed.
Improving Access to Services for Clients Experiencing Multiple DisadvantageBacked by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) and developed with the NHS Transformation Partners in Health and Care Co-Occurring Conditions Team, this course helps professionals support the multiple and co-occurring needs of people experiencing multiple disadvantage.

3) Launching immersive VR training

Innovation remained central to our work in 2025 as we unveiled our first immersive VR brain injury training at a pre-launch event, before showcasing it at the Homeless Link Health & Homelessness Conference. It was a proud moment for the team and an exciting glimpse into what’s coming next.
The full launch is coming soon. Register your interest to be the first to hear more.
4) Launching our new website
In 2025, we launched a fresh, updated website to reflect our brand, mission, and journey. Whether you’re new to aneemo or want to explore more about our work, the website is your hub to discover courses, initiatives, and impact.
5) Recognised as a Social Enterprise

We were thrilled to announce that aneemo became an accredited Social Enterprise UK member. This recognition reflects what sits at the heart of everything we do: improving health, wellbeing, housing stability, and independence for people facing multiple disadvantage and creating lasting, meaningful impact.
6) Growing our team and deepening our impact

2025 marked a year of expansion for aneemo. After 20 years in the NHS, Dr Emma Williamson joined aneemo full time to continue her mission of building a more just, equitable, and compassionate world.
We also grew our team from 3 to 12, welcoming new members whose diverse skills and experience have strengthened our capacity, supported business growth, and deepened our impact.
7) Launching Trauma-Informed Leadership

Developed with Westminster City Council and backed by the MHCLG Rough Sleeping Initiative (RSI), we launched our Trauma-Informed Leadership course.
The course helps leaders understand how trauma shapes behaviour, decision-making, and relationships not only for service users, but for staff and teams too. It highlights the importance of embedding trauma-informed approaches at every level of an organisation.
8) Joining the Sie Catalyst Accelerator
aneemo was selected to join the latest cohort of female-founded businesses on the Sie Catalyst Accelerator. The programme backs female founders and supports investing in diversity, providing access to capital, networks, experienced founders, and a supportive community through investor and business coaching, helping accelerate sustainable growth and impact.
9) Driving nationwide transformation with Change Grow Live

Our partnership with Change Grow Live continues with strong momentum, training 2,346 staff since the partnership began. Our aspiration is that by the summer 2026, all staff across the UK will be equipped to apply skills in Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE), Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing.

10) Ending the year on a High

We closed 2025 on a real high, with Emma Williamson winning ‘Start-up to Watch’ at the UnitedXR Europe Pitch Competition in Brussels a fitting celebration of an extraordinary year.
If you’re looking to invest in training, build a resilient and skilled workforce, and better support service users, now is the perfect time to start.
